The Critical Services Delivery team is responsible for designing and building HKEX IT infrastructure for core mission critical systems. We are seeking a Linux Engineer to manage IT infrastructure projects, as well as internal process automation and improvement.

As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will work closely with the Critical Service Delivery Lead in managing critical IT solutions implementation. You will also collaborate with the Critical Service Support and Engineering team on technical solutions and support.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with application teams on IT solution implementations.
• Interact with internal and external parties on planning and execution.
• Follow project plan to ensure all milestones and deadlines are met.
• Compile project and technical documents, such as project plans, technical specifications, and test reports.
• Implement and manage automation tools and processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.

Requirement:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information System or IT related disciplines.
• 5+ years of hands-on Linux administration, troubleshooting and security hardening experience.
• Hands on experience in Linux OS configuration, troubleshooting and security hardening.
• Willing to work on weekends for server setup and testing.
• Good team player with aspirations for career development in top tier financial industry.
