Senior Vice President, Debt Market Development

Job Summary:
- Support the design and development of innovative credit products through HKEX subsidiaries and affiliates.
- Enhance product offerings across the credit value chain from a financial infrastructure perspective.
- Source and coordinate both Chinese and international bond issuers to promote bond listings.
- Assist in the development bond valuation, credit indices, credit derivatives, and credit bond ETFs.
- Build and enhance HKEX's bond trading platform, expanding investor participation including retail.
- Develop supporting functions such as custody, settlement, asset servicing, and data services for bonds and other fixed income securities.
- Optimize workflows and processes for existing offerings and implement enhancements based on client needs.
- Collaborate with sales teams and client networks to identify market needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Work with internal and external platform teams and partners to capture commercial opportunities from product innovations.
- Introduce new digital technologies to streamline processes and capture emerging market trends.
- Assist to drive industry readiness and coordinate implementation of new solutions within the organization.
- Manage user working groups and industry committees, both internally and externally.
- Act as a key liaison between HKEX and market participants to ensure alignment and adoption of new initiatives.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Economics, Business, or related disciplines.
• 15+ years of work experience in credit markets, including DCM, credit trading, or sales.
• Strong knowledge of issuance processes, bond trading, repo trading, credit derivatives, and bond index/ETF products.
• Deep understanding of Bond Connect and the Chinese bond market.
• Established network with DCM banks, sales/trading desks, and institutional funds.
• Proven ability to deliver solutions and solve complex problems, with experience in project management.
• Good communication skills, prefer business proficiency in mandarin Chinese
