About the Role
As Senior Vice President, Group Financial Controller, you will provide strategic leadership and executive oversight of the Group’s financial governance, reporting integrity, finance systems, internal controls, insurance programme, accounting, and regional finance functions. This role will strengthen enterprise-wide financial discipline, ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards, and enhance the Group’s financial capabilities to support long-term business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the Group’s financial consolidation, management reporting, and statutory reporting processes.
- Conduct P&L and balance sheet analysis, including variance and trend analysis to support management decisions.
- Oversee the Group’s compliance and internal control frameworks to safeguard financial integrity.
- Partner with hotel operations, internal and external auditors to strengthen governance and risk mitigation.
- Promote strong compliance culture across global finance teams.
- Provide strategic direction for all finance systems, including Enterprise Resource Planning integration and enhancements.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives to improve efficiency and reporting accuracy.
- Oversee HQ accounting operations, including general ledger, reconciliations, and financial close.
- Ensure compliance with fiscal controls, accounting policies, payroll governance, and statutory requirements.
- Lead the Group’s asset insurance strategy and ensure adequate coverage and risk mitigation.
- Oversee finance business partnerships across the Group, providing financial insights and support to drive operational efficiency and profitability.
- Manage the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts; and lead FP&A activities to monitor financial performance against targets.
- Provide direction and oversight to regional finance teams across multiple geographies.
- Support business partnering, financial performance management, and regional financial operations.
- Develop, review, and maintain Group-wide finance policies, controls, and operating procedures.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and transparency.
- Lead finance transformation initiatives, including process standardization and automation.
About You
- Professional accounting qualification (CPA, CA, ACCA or equivalent).
- Minimum 15 years of senior finance leadership experience in a complex, multi‑entity environment.
- Extensive experience in financial reporting, consolidation, accounting standards, controls, and systems.
- Strong understanding of finance systems and ERP environments.
- Proven senior leadership experience across multi-entity, multi-market environments.
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
- Ability to lead large teams, drive transformation, and elevate organisational capability.
- Strategic thinker with strong operational grounding and attention to detail.
