Senior Voice Engineer - Financial Services / 70k - 100k per month

Position Overview
This role is responsible for the architecture, stability, security, compliance, and continuous development of mission-critical voice services, including:

• Cisco IP Telephony (CUCM)
• BT Trading Environment (BTTE) turret systems
• Verint Financial Compliance (VFC) voice recording
• SIP/PSTN connectivity and carrier integrations

Operating within a regulated financial services environment, the role supports front office trading, compliance, and essential business communications.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver senior-level design, operational support, and escalation management for:
• Cisco CUCM, Unity Connection, and JTAPI systems
• Trading Environment turrets
• Voice recording solutions such as Verint Financial Compliance (VFC)
• Ensure high availability, resilience, and low latency for corporate and trading voice services.
• Manage integration points between:
• Turret systems and CUCM
• Voice platforms and VFC recording systems
• SIP trunks and carriers (including HKT, BT, and international telecom providers)
• Lead technical resolution for voice incidents, including carrier escalations, fraud investigations, and major outages.
• Contribute to voice architecture for new office setups, trading floor expansions, relocations, and platform upgrades.
• Collaborate closely with Network, Security, Compliance, Trading Support teams, and external vendors to maintain service continuity and regulatory compliance.

Skills and Experience

Core Technical Expertise

• Extensive experience with Cisco CUCM, including multi-cluster and global dial plan implementations.
• Strong knowledge of turret platforms used in front office trading environments.
• Practical expertise with Verint VFC or similar regulated voice recording systems.
• In-depth understanding of SIP, RTP, CUBE, PSTN/PRI, QoS, and carrier interconnect technologies.
• Proven skills in voice security and fraud mitigation strategies.
• Solid background supporting enterprise voice platforms across multiple countries and regions.

Professional Background

• Minimum 8 years of experience in enterprise voice and unified communications engineering.
• Demonstrated experience supporting trading floor turret systems and voice recording platforms.
• Experience within financial services or regulated sectors strongly preferred.
• Proven track record as a technical lead or design authority.
• Project management experience is a plus.
