Senior/Fund Accountant Private Equity and Venture Capital (Hong Kong)

Our client, an established and fast-growing platform at the intersection of fund administration and technology is looking to hire a Senior/Fund Accountant to join its expanding Hong Kong team. This is an opportunity to work closely with leading venture capital and private equity clients in a dynamic, tech-enabled environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage end-to-end fund accounting activities including capital calls, distributions, and financial reporting
2. Support audit and tax processes, as well as pre- and post-close fund activities
3. Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements
4. Handle Limited Partner (LP) communications and respond to client queries
5. Work closely with internal teams to improve operational processes and scalability
6. Support the use of data and tools to deliver enhanced reporting (e.g. IRR, portfolio performance metrics such as TVPI/RVPI)
7. Partner with cross-functional teams including product and engineering to support ongoing platform development

Key Requirements:

1. Closed-end fund accounting experience
2. Experience with private equity, venture capital, or closed-end fund structures
3. Familiarity with Limited Partnership Agreements (LPAs)
4. Strong understanding of fund lifecycle, financial reporting, and investor servicing
5. Good communication skills with the ability to engage with clients and stakeholders
6. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines
7. Experience with process improvement, automation, or AI tools is a plus
8. Fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin preferred
9. CPA / CA qualification is advantageous
