HR Generalist (HRBP / Talent Acquisition Focus) - Insurance Firm
Location: Hong Kong Company Size: ~100 employees

About the Company
Our client is a well-established insurance firm with a strong presence in Hong Kong, known for its collaborative culture and steady growth. With a workforce of around 100 employees, the organization is entering an exciting phase of development and is seeking a dynamic HR professional to support its people agenda.

About the Role
This is a broad and hands-on HR Generalist role with a strong focus on HR Business Partnering and Talent Acquisition, alongside exposure to HR operations and Compensation & Benefits. Reporting directly to senior management, you will play a key role in shaping and supporting HR initiatives across the business.

Key Responsibilities
HR Business Partnering
  • Act as a trusted HR partner to business leaders, providing practical and commercial HR advice
  • Support organizational development, workforce planning, and employee engagement initiatives
  • Handle employee relations matters, ensuring alignment with company policies and local regulations
Talent Acquisition
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes across business functions
  • Partner with hiring managers to define hiring needs and sourcing strategies
  • Drive employer branding and candidate experience initiatives
HR Operations & C&B
  • Support day-to-day HR operations, including onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle management
  • Assist in compensation and benefits administration, including payroll coordination and benefits review
  • Ensure HR policies and procedures remain compliant and up to date
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related disciplines
  • 5-8 years of HR experience, ideally within financial services or insurance
  • Proven experience in HRBP and/or Talent Acquisition roles
  • Solid understanding of Hong Kong employment ordinances and HR best practices
  • Hands-on, proactive, and able to thrive in a lean team environment
Language Requirements
  • Native Mandarin speaker (essential)
  • Fluent Cantonese (spoken) and strong English communication skills
