Pay        \:     

HK$27,413 to HK$51,313 (HGPS Pt 9 – Pt 21) per month including Monthly Allowance

Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff at the end of each 3 years during the 9-year contract period subject to satisfactory performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1.      To organize empowerment & psychosocial programs for patients & carers in Mental Health Patient Resource Centre.

2.     To support networking projects organized with community partners.

3.     To educate patients and carers about community resources through AI and Apps.

4.     To assist new initiatives relating to carer support with clinical and community partners.

5.     To develop and implement psychiatric volunteer services and related trainings.

6.     To perform any job-related duties assigned by seniors.
 

Entry Requirements:
 

1.     A diploma in Social Work from a local academic institution or equivalent.

2.     Registration with and a valid registration certificate issued by the Hong Kong Social Workers Registration Board.

3.     Fluency in written English and Chinese as well as spoken English and Cantonese.
 

Preferred Attributes / Exposure:
 

1.     (a) Grade E in English Language (Syllabus B) and Chinese Language in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination, or equivalent.

OR

 (b)  Level 2 in English Language and Chinese Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education, or equivalent.

2.      Professional background of psychology and counseling is preferable.

3.      Proficient in using group work skill & virtual technology in programs.

4.      Professional background of using expressive art.

5.      Good communication skills.

6.      Creativity and efficiency.
