Software Engineer

Requirement:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Proven experience in software development using scalable technologies such as Python, SQL, Java, C#, Excel VBA, or Angular.
• Hands-on experience across the full software development lifecycle.
• Experience working in a rapid application development environment.
• Familiarity with financial services data flows and capital markets products (e.g. prime finance).
• Experience in financial industry IT environments (buy-side or sell-side).
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and general problem-solving.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Comfortable working directly with end users and business stakeholders.
• Able to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to drive projects end-to-end with ownership and accountability.
• Self-driven and able to work independently.

Desirable Skills / Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience designing and developing enterprise-scale systems, including pricing or analytics components for financial instruments.
• Proactive mindset with ability to independently develop and iterate on ideas, while contributing effectively in a team.
• Exposure to data science concepts or tooling.
• Willingness to learn and adopt new technologies.
• Prior experience in front-office investment banking environments.
• Academic or professional background in Finance; CFA or FRM candidates/holders a plus.
