JOB SUMMARY
The Specialist, Commercial & Operations provides analytical, coordination and implementation support for regional Commercial and Operations priorities across Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan and South China. The role supports managed and franchised hotels by maintaining performance reporting, coordinating stakeholders, tracking agreed actions and helping ensure accurate and timely execution.
This role reports to the Regional Vice President and works under the guidance of Senior Commercial and Senior Operations leadership and partners with Regional, property, and COE stakeholders to support defined commercial strategies, operating priorities, tools, standards, and programs. The role focuses on hands-on coordination and execution support, including collecting information, maintaining trackers, preparing working materials, supporting hotel follow-up, documenting progress, and escalating questions, risks, or decisions for guidance as needed.
The role helps hotels understand key commercial and operational priorities by supporting communication, collecting updates, organizing data, preparing simple summaries, and assisting with implementation follow-up at property level.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience
Required
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Marketing, Commerce, Data Analytics or another relevant discipline is required.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience in hospitality, hotel operations, commercial, sales, marketing, revenue management, business analysis or project coordination is preferred; regional or multi-property experience is an advantage.
• Fluent spoken and written English and Chinese, including professional working proficiency in Mandarin, are required.
• Ability to travel occasionally for property site visits and/or Regional meetings
• Understanding of Copilot and M365 Copilot Studio.
Preferred
• Internship, placement, project, or work exposure supporting hotel operations, commercial, sales, marketing, revenue management, quality, guest experience, business analysis, or related activities.
• Good analytical, organizational, communication, problem-solving, and follow-up skills, with attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
• Proficiency in spoken Cantonese and written Traditional Chinese is highly preferred and will be considered an advantage.

• Comfortable working across multiple markets, cultures and stakeholder groups in a fast-paced, matrixed organization.
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
Commercial and Operations Support
• Supports the Senior Director, Commercial, the Senior Director, Operations, and regional leaders in tracking priorities, following up on assigned actions, and maintaining relevant materials and trackers.
• Assists with commercial and operational reviews by compiling data, preparing simple summaries, consolidating observations, and supporting follow-up on selected focus areas.
• Coordinates with Regional, property, and COE stakeholders to support the rollout of approved commercial tools, operating standards, implementation materials, training resources, and programs.
• Provides coordination and administrative support for business planning, campaign follow-up, market review preparation, meeting materials, reporting, hotel operations follow-up, and performance tracking.
• Identifies questions, data gaps, follow-up needs, or potential risks and escalates them for review and guidance as needed.
• Assists with ground-level implementation support for hotel operations initiatives, including collecting property updates, preparing simple summaries, coordinating follow-ups, and helping hotels understand required actions.
• Maintains recurring dashboards, trackers and regional scorecards and conducts first-level analysis of trends, variances and exceptions.
• Prepares meeting materials, decision summaries and action trackers, and monitors deadlines, accountable owners and project status.
• Conducts relevant market, competitor and industry research and supports preparation of concise management presentations.
• Maintains organized documentation, templates and knowledge resources and supports regional workshops, training and major events.
• Performs responsibilities in accordance with company policies, applicable laws, information-security requirements, data-privacy standards and ethical business practices.
