Department / Cluster: Cluster Procurement & Materials Management Unit, New Territories West Cluster (NTWC)
Pay: HK$15,589 to HK$ 29,022 (HGPS Point 0 to 10) per month including Monthly Allowance
Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide administrative support to supervisors in the daily operation of the unit.
2. Liaise with relevant stakeholders in the supply chain to ensure the right goods and services are delivered efficiently.
3. Use Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System to handle supplies function and support users in using the system in initiating purchase request.
4. Review and analyze procurement / consumption history and give advice for formation of procurement plan and carry out procurement and materials management activities in accordance with the HA Procurement and Materials Management Manual.
5. Coordinate and handle enquiries and requests from user departments.
6. Provide day-to-day clerical support to the unit.
7. Assist to maintain proper filing and record keeping for the unit.
8. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Entry Requirements :
1. Serving staff in the substantive rank of Supplies Attendant with at least 2 years of satisfactory service in that rank.
OR
2(a). Having completed Form 4/ Secondary 4, or equivalent; and
2(b). Able to write Chinese and solve arithmetical problems and speak and write English at a standard equivalent to Form 4/ Secondary 4.
Preferable Attributes/Exposure :
1. Knowledge in the application of common computer software including Microsoft Office and Excel.
2. Familiar with the procurement and supplies systems of Hospital Authority and applications.
3. Able to work independently, under pressure and take on multiple tasks.
4. Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
5. Good communication, interpersonal and organization skills.
