About the Job


Blue Bottle Coffee is seeking a skilled and motivated Supply Chain Manager to join our Hong Kong team.


This role plays a critical, connective part in enabling our business teams to consistently deliver an exceptional guest experience. The scope spans merchandise and supplies, with the goal of ensuring product availability and operational efficiency. Success in this position requires strong collaboration with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers.


The Supply Chain team is a cornerstone of our Operations organization, driving local and global processes, strategic initiatives, and the supply frameworks that support our long-term plans. The team ensures the right products are in the right place at the right time — all while continuously improving processes, driving cost efficiency, and upholding the highest quality standards. This function is the operational heartbeat of Blue Bottle, and we invite you to help make it even stronger.


You Will:



  • Vendor & Procurement Management — Identify, qualify, develop, and manage relationships with vendors and external partners; lead RFQ/RFP processes, commercial evaluations, and contract negotiations to secure competitive pricing, service levels, payment terms, and supply continuity across categories to ensure business needs are consistently met.

  • Hong Kong Local Sourcing — Develop and execute local sourcing strategies for café supplies, ingredients, packaging, equipment, merchandise, and services in Hong Kong; build a qualified local supplier pool through market research, benchmarking, supplier visits, and due diligence, while balancing quality, cost/savings, lead time, scalability, and sustainability.

  • Procurement Governance & Supplier Performance — Manage source-to-contract and purchase-to-pay activities in line with company policies and approval requirements; maintain accurate supplier, pricing, and contract records, monitor supplier KPIs and service-level performance, and lead corrective actions, cost-saving initiatives, and periodic business reviews.


  • Supply Chain & Logistics Operations — Own end-to-end supply chain management for Blue Bottle Hong Kong’s cafés, implementing cost-effective fulfillment strategies; ensure compliance with international import/export regulations and oversee 3PL coordination and domestic operational execution.


  • Demand & Inventory Planning — Develop item-level demand forecasts across multiple time horizons, products, and channels using sales data, inventory levels, promotional calendars, and analytics; lead inventory strategy and order management to drive superior cost efficiency.


  • Cross-Functional Collaboration — Partner closely with cross-functional teams — supporting new product launches, with Product Development Team, & Marketing Team contributing to monthly close activities with Finance Team, improving café delivery schedules, and sourcing third-party partners for local merchandise or packaged goods development.


  • Continuous Improvement & Risk Management — Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and enhance cost efficiency; proactively identify supply chain risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.


You Are:



  • Target and detail oriented, with the ability to synthesize quantitative and qualitative data to see the bigger picture


  • Skilled at anticipating and balancing stakeholder needs to align teams around a common goal


  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and confident making decisions that move the organization forward


  • Proactive and innovative, consistently seeking ways to improve and simplify processes


You Have:



  • 7+ years of experience in Operations or Supply Chain or Sourcing, ideally within Food & Beverage retail sector orFMCG sector


  • Strong communication skills in English, Mandarin and Cantonese (business level)


  • Proficiency in data analysis


  • Experience with supply chain digital product optimization


  • Familiarity with local import regulations and food quality control standards (preferred)


  • A genuine passion for great coffee, food, and delivering an exceptional guest experience
