Support Engineer Integrated Facility Engineering (Ref. 260000Q6)

Responsibilities

• Undertake a wide range of low-voltage electrical design tasks, provide technical support, as well as coordinate, supervise and provide cost estimates for the delivery of capital and revenue works in operating railways
• Prepare, review, and manage technical submissions, drawings and specifications
• Liaise and coordinate with internal stakeholders, external consultants and contractors on design development and project documentation
• Render technical advice and maintenance support, and conduct incident and failure investigations

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical / Building Services Engineering or a related discipline
• A minimum of 3  years’ relevant design experience
• Possession of Certificate of Registered Electrical Worker qualification is preferred.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently with good interpersonal and communication skills
• Well versed with MS Office, AutoCAD, Microstation and Photoshop
• Capable to read and understand shop drawings submission

• Knowledge in BIM, Sketchup or other 3D modelling software is preferred

   

Remarks

• Appointment will be made on two-year renewable contract terms
