Job Description - System Engineer

Your new company

My client is a leading technology-driven organisation operating large-scale AI and supercomputing platforms.

Your new role

Manage and support cloud infrastructure environments, including compute, storage, network, and virtualisation components, ensuring readiness for new service deployments and customer onboarding.
Deliver Tier 2 operational support for cloud platforms, maintaining system stability, availability, and scalability across services.
Perform ongoing system monitoring, troubleshooting, patching, upgrades, and performance optimisation to ensure smooth platform operations.
Deploy and maintain customer cloud solutions while handling change requests and enhancements.
Ensure adherence to organisational IT standards and security frameworks, while contributing to process improvement and automation initiatives.

What you'll need to succeed

Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
Minimum 3 years of experience in cloud engineering, system infrastructure, or related roles.
Solid experience with both Windows and Linux server administration.
Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, virtualisation, networking concepts, and storage technologies.
Proven troubleshooting capabilities with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders.
Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese.
Relevant certifications in cloud platforms or infrastructure technologies are advantageous.
