Team Head, HK Large Corp/GBA Corporate Banking

The Role

• Manage and scale a high-value portfolio of large corporate clients within your designated market (HK Blue-Chips or GBA Corporates, two separate teams) across sectors like manufacturing, trading, tech, and NBFIs, strictly excluding property investment and real estate development.
• Drive net-new client acquisition while farming existing relationships to meet targets across loan drawdowns, high-yield CASA and deposit accumulation, and Global Markets fee income.
• Originate, structure, and execute corporate financing solutions, including bilateral loans, complex trade finance facilities, non-property commercial financing, club deals, and syndicated finance.
• Lead, mentor, and upskill a team of Relationship Managers, cultivating a high-performance culture and serving as an incubator for future banking talent.
• Oversee the end-to-end credit process, ensuring robust risk management through meticulous credit proposals, structure validation, and regular credit reviews.

Your Profile

• Bachelor's degree or above in Banking, Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of corporate or commercial banking experience, with a proven track record in leading marketing teams and managing large corporate segments.
• Technical expertise in structured trade finance, corporate lending, bilateral/syndicated finance, and club deals.
• Strong hunting mindset with an established network for new client acquisition within the respective market (HK Blue-Chips or GBA Large Corporates).
• Holder of professional certificates under ECF / QF or issued by recognized industry bodies is a definite advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• For the GBA role, complete professional fluency in Mandarin is essential.
