JOB OVERVIEW
We are seeking a 6-month fixed-term contract position to support the HR projects, HR operations and any ad hoc tasks as assigned. In this role, you will provide support across key HR operations, drive impactful HR projects, and ensure seamless delivery of day-to-day HR operations for our Asia Pacific offices including Singapore, Tokyo and Sydney, Hong Kong, Beijing and Shanghai.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Support HR projects including but not limited to HR records migration as well as HR governance & controls.
- Manage end-to-end regional staff onboarding and offboarding processes, including managing background screenings, handlings visa applications, and facilitating all necessary documentation.
- Maintain and update HR systems as well as HR records to ensure data accuracy and compliance with internal records policies and regulatory requirements.
- Administer benefits related to staff movements, including timely enrollments, adjustments, and terminations.
- Manage relationships with HR service providers and vendors in strict accordance with CBIC’s internal vendor management frameworks.
- Review, track, and process invoices with precision and efficiency, ensuring timely payment and compliance.
- Provide support for daily HR operations and contribute to various ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in HR operations, HR generalist roles, or HR project support.
- Strong understanding of core HR concepts, operational processes, and regional HR policies and practices
- Solid working knowledge of employment laws, labor legislation, and corporate HR governance frameworks.
- Proven organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle data-heavy workflows or migrations.
- Meticulous attention to detail with an unyielding commitment to data accuracy and consistency.
- High resilience and the ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, with a proven ability to interpret and clearly explain complex, technical, or conceptual HR information to stakeholders.
COMPLEXITIES/CHALLENGES
- Operates with independence to identify priorities and address policy and program implementation/ customization requirements to meet client needs.
- Staying current with evolving needs and strategies.
- Ability to work within a matrix environment and provide support to a number of colleagues within a geographic area.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- This role operates within a fast paced and deadline drive office environment. Focused concentration and attention to detail is required when analyzing and interpreting workforce data
- This role, on occasion, requires long and sometimes unpredictable hours of work to meet project commitments
- May be required to provide support for multiple deals/projects at the same time
