Top financial institution - Event Manager (up to 70K)

The Company

Our client is a Hong Kong-based hedge fund seeking an Administrative Assistant to support office administration and management, as well as provide secretarial support to senior management, including meeting coordination, travel arrangements, and other administrative tasks.

The Role

• Event management: Take full ownership of planning and delivering events end-to-end, ensuring a smooth and high-quality experience for all participants.
• Stakeholder engagement: Build strong relationships across teams to understand their needs and create engaging and meaningful events.
• Logistics coordination: Manage all event details, including venue, catering, transportation, promotion, and on-site support.
• Cross-team collaboration: Work closely with internal teams such as HR and recruitment to align event goals and execution.
• Event tracking & reporting: Keep accurate records of event schedules, attendance, and budgets.

• Vendor & contract coordination: Liaise with external partners and support contract processes to ensure all arrangements are in place.
  

Your Profile

• Bachelor's degree with around 5+ years of hands-on event management experience
• Proven ability to independently manage events from planning through execution
• Regional exposure across APAC markets is an advantage
• Curious mindset with the ability to bring new ideas and practical solutions
• Dependable team player with a flexible and positive approach
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities at once
• Open to flexible working hours, including occasional evenings or travel
• Strong communication skills, both written and spoken
• Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
