Treasury & Investment Dealing Specialist - Global Private Bank (HKSI 1,7,8)

Introduction

Our client is a stable and well-established global private bank in Hong Kong. They are currently looking for a Treasury Dealing & Investment Dealing Specialist to expand their Operations capacity in Hong Kong. No shift work is required for this position.

Responsibilities

1. Working closely with the Execution Manager in handling the dealing & daily operations for the bank’s treasury activities and Private Banking client-driven transactions.
2. Collaborating with the Private Banking Dealing team and Front Office to execute clients' securities orders promptly.
3. Ensuring all relevant trades are entered into the Execution Desk System with precision and speed.
4. Coordinating with the operations team for processing within transaction cutoff times and following up on any trade discrepancies.
5. Working with internal teams to monitor clients' securities funding and for subsequent transfer/funding instructions.
6. Keeping abreast of developments in the financial markets and informing the front office of any significant news and developments relevant to clients' investments.
7. Preparing MIS reports as required.
8. Assuring all trading activities are compliant with the bank’s policies, pre-approved limits, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards.

Requirements

1. Degree or above in a finance or business-related discipline.
2. Possession of HKSI Paper 1, 7, and 8 certification is a must (HKSI 7 & 8 can be waived for holders of a relevant university degree).
3. 1–3 years of Banking or Financial Services Treasury Dealing or Investment Dealing experience.
4. Proficient in deal order execution and broker/dealer activities.
5. Good knowledge of Capital and Financial Markets.
6. TMA Associate Membership / Core Level qualification under the Enhanced Competency Framework on Treasury Management (ECF-TM) is highly preferred.
7. Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
