Treasury Dealer (VP/SVP) - Liquidity Management

Our business partner is a well-established bank that is seeking a Senior Treasury Dealer (VP/SVP) within their liquidity management team.

Your new role

As a critical member of the team, you will be responsible for:

• Lead and ensure the effective operation of the liquidity team responsible for monitoring and managing the bank's balance sheet movements.
• Drive initiatives to optimise returns on the banking book portfolio (residual funds) while adhering to the bank's risk appetite and prudential standards.
• Analyse and provide recommendations on the bank's asset and liability structure.
• Act as the business owner of the ALM system, including defining user requirements and conducting UAT when required.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., LM-2) within the Treasury & Markets function.
• Perform in-depth analysis on liquidity positions, interest rate gaps, maturity profiles, and projected cash flows for the banking book.
• Support and participate in market activities such as money market deposits, FX swaps, repos, and related transactions.
• Coach and develop junior team members, providing guidance and support within the liquidity team.

What you'll need to succeed

In order to be successful, you will have at least 10 years of relevant experience in Asset & Liability Management across treasury markets. A tertiary degree coupled with proficiency in English and Chinese are required. Candidates with less experience may be considered as Vice President (VP).
