Job Responsibilities / Job Brief

Senior role in the Polymer Legal Team. Key responsibilities will include:

Review and negotiate trading and financing documentation.
Review and negotiate general commercial contracts across the firm
Provide legal advice to key stakeholders across the group
Participate in our continued business expansion and new initiatives

Requirements

J.D. / Bachelor of Laws degree from an accredited university
Professional legal qualification from US or common law jurisdiction
Technical knowledge of prime brokerage, equity derivatives and APAC market structure
7-12 years of post-qualification experience in financial services. In-house experience at an investment bank or hedge fund is helpful.
Strong drafting and negotiation skills
Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail

Good to have

Knowledge of financial markets and asset management industry
Familiarity with employment law
Spoken and written Mandarin and Cantonese
