VP Compliance - Global PE Fund House

The Company

Our client is a global private equity fund house with a strong international footprint and a long‑established presence in the market. As part of their continued growth, they are looking to hire a VP Compliance to join their experienced and well‑respected compliance team in APAC

The Role

Key Responsibilities

• Support global marketing programme by analysing private placement requirements and coordinating with external counsel on applications
• Review marketing and investor materials (e.g. pitchbooks, presentations, factsheets, investor communications, website content) for regulatory and internal compliance
• Review firm communications, including press releases and social media posts
• Ensure consistency across DDQs and RFPs, and support due diligence processes
• Assist in drafting disclosures and maintaining the disclosure library
• Prepare regulatory filings for Asia fundraising and private wealth teams
• Support SFC/MAS licensing matters, including applications for new hires

Compliance & Advisory

• Monitor regulatory developments across Asia Pacific and assess business impact
• Liaise with US compliance, legal, and internal stakeholders on marketing compliance queries
• Oversee distribution channel monitoring and communication surveillance
• Support internal reviews and compliance testing

Stakeholder Management

• Provide compliance advisory, training, and guidance to internal teams
• Collaborate with fundraising, private wealth, legal, and external counsel to ensure ongoing compliance
