Job Description - Operations Intern

Our 2026 APAC Summer Intern program nurtures undergraduates toward taking up key roles within Smith’s Hong Kong Operations Department to equip them with practical operational knowledge and build upon the skills learned in the classroom. You will gain meaningful exposure to and knowledge of our industry, operations, and valuable skillsets.

We are recruiting 2026 and 2027 fresh graduates to help them explore a career in the semiconductor trading industry. Outstanding interns will receive a full‑time offer upon graduation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Rotate across various Operations teams, including product receiving, shipment processing, inventory control, and quality inspection
  • Collaborate closely with other Operations team members to facilitate smooth daily operational workflow
  • Assist in maintaining accurate records and reports related to inventory movement, shipping activities, and operational processes
  • Conduct research, support project execution, and prepare presentations to the senior executives
  • Provide support on ad-hoc tasks and operational projects to contribute to team success

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, engineering, or a related discipline, preferably graduating in 2026 or 2027
  • Prior operations internship experience preferred
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Keen to explore the electronics and semiconductor industry
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility and high learning agility
  • Desire to work in a challenging and fast-paced environment
