Accountant + HR

Job Description:

As an Accountant at VATIO Energy India Pvt Ltd, you will be responsible for managing all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets. You will provide accurate quantitative information on financial position, liquidity and cash flows, while ensuring compliance with all tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all accounting transactions and prepare budget forecasts.
  
  


• Publish financial statements in time and handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
  
  


• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely bank payments and collection processes.
  
  


• Compute taxes and prepare tax returns, balance sheet, profit/loss statement, etc.
  
  


• Audit financial transactions and documents, reinforcing financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary.
  
  

• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process to attract and retain top talent
  
  


• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to support business objectives and ensure compliance with labor laws.
  
  


• Provide HR consulting services on employee relations, performance management, and organizational development.
  
  


• Manage employee data and HR analytics to inform decision-making.
  
  

Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  
  


• Proven work experience as an Accountant or similar role.
  
  


• Hands-on experience with accounting software like Tally, Zoho Books, CRM.
  
  


• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
  
  


• Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables.
  
  


• Certification (CA) is a plus.
  
  


• 1-3 years of experience in HR, with a focus on recruitment and HR consulting.
  
  


• Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
  
  


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels of the organization.
