Accounts Lead

• Lead end-to-end accounting operations, including AP/AR, reconciliation, ledgers, tax filings, and audit readiness.
  

• Finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual books of accounts as per statutory and internal timelines.
  

• Prepare MIS reports, P&L, cash flow statements, and budget vs. actual analysis for management review.
  

• Ensure 100% compliance with all applicable tax laws (GST, TDS, Income Tax) and handle return filings.
  

• Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities for statutory and internal audits.
  

• Supervise invoicing, credit note processing, and payment cycles for distributors, e-commerce platforms, and vendors.
  

• Maintain and improve internal financial controls and accounting systems.
  

• Manage a team of accountants and collaborate cross-functionally with sales, operations, and procurement teams.
  

• Optimize working capital, monitor collections, and flag risks proactively.
  

Requirements

• Qualified Chartered Accountant
  

• 7+ years of relevant experience in handling accounts in a consumer products, pharma, or D2C setup
  

• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and Indian statutory norms
  

• Proficiency in Tally ERP / Zoho Books / SAP / or similar accounting systems
  

• Excellent command over Excel, reconciliation, and reporting tools
  

• Leadership capability to manage junior accountants and external consultants
  

• Strong eye for detail, problem-solving mindset, and integrity
