About the Role

Chai Shots is looking for a tech-savvy Accountant & MIS Specialist who combines strong accounting fundamentals with advanced Excel/Google Sheets, MIS reporting, AI tools and automation.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with financial data, preparing management reports and finding ways to automate repetitive finance and MIS processes.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  

  Prepare daily, weekly and monthly MIS reports for management.

  
  


• 
  

  Build and maintain P&L, revenue, expense, cash flow, receivables, payables and budget-vs-actual reports.

  
  


• 
  

  Automate accounting and MIS processes using Excel, Google Sheets, AI tools, Zoho and other relevant platforms.

  
  


• 
  

  Consolidate financial data from multiple sources and create management dashboards.

  
  


• 
  

  Perform bank, ledger, vendor, customer and inter-company reconciliations.

  
  


• 
  

  Monitor receivables, payables, advances and expenses.

  
  


• 
  

  Track expenses, cost centres and business-unit-wise financial performance.

  
  


• 
  

  Identify discrepancies, unusual transactions and reporting anomalies.

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain accurate accounting records and support timely month-end closure.

  
  


• 
  

  Support GST, TDS, statutory compliance and audit requirements.

  
  


• 
  

  Work with HR, Business, Operations and Leadership teams to collect and validate financial data.

  
  


• 
  

  Develop automated templates and workflows to reduce manual intervention.

  
  


• 
  

  Provide financial insights to support faster business decisions.

  
  

What We're Looking For

• 
  

  2–4 years of experience in Accounts, MIS, Finance Operations or Management Reporting.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

  
  


• 
  

  Excellent hands-on knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets.

  
  


• 
  

  Experience with Pivot Tables, advanced formulas, lookups, dashboards and data analysis.
