Area Manager - Sales (Trade)

Job Summary
Looking for an experienced and result-oriented Area Manager to drive sales growth for its Switch & Switchgears business across Haryana. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in General Trade and Distribution Sales, with a proven track record of leading high-performing sales teams and expanding channel networks.

Key Responsibilities
●    Drive sales and achieve revenue targets for the assigned region.
●    Develop and execute local sales strategies to increase market share.
●    Manage and strengthen the General Trade and Distribution network.
●    Appoint, develop, and manage distributors and channel partners.
●    Lead, coach, and mentor a team of 6–8 sales professionals.
●    Monitor sales performance, market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
●    Ensure effective secondary sales execution and distributor profitability.
●    Build strong relationships with dealers, distributors, and key customers.
●    Plan and implement promotional activities and sales initiatives.
●    Coordinate with marketing, supply chain, and finance teams.
●    Prepare sales forecasts, business plans, and MIS reports.
●    Ensure timely collections and healthy receivables.
 

Desired Candidate Profile
●    12–15 years of sales experience in Switch, Switchgear, Wires & Cables, Electrical, or Building Materials.
●    Strong exposure to General Trade and Distribution Sales.
●    Experience handling Haryana
●    Experience managing a team of 6–8 members.
●    Strong distributor network.
●    Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
●    Willingness to travel extensively.

●    MBA/ BE Preferred.
