Job Description - AS400 - RPGLE Developer

Job Description:

Responsible for developing and maintaining application with several technologies.

Experience developing applications in RPG, RPGLE, SQLRPGLE, CLLE, DB - DDS, DDL, ILE Concepts, Free Format.

Interface with Technical architects, functional analyst & Business process analysts to understand project requirements and other stake -holders.

Create LLD & HLD.

Ability to code and unit test adhering to organization standards.

Ensures compliance of project deliverables in line with Project Management methodologies.

Knowledge of SQL.

Independent contributor.

Requirements

Non -Negotiable Competencies

Minimum 6 Years of Experience in IT.

Programming Fundamentals (RPGLE, SQLRPGLE, CLLE,DDS, DDL, Free Format).

Extensive knowledge on Programming SQL RPGLE - Procedures, Modules, Service Programs and Binding Directories.

Experience on Sub file, Display File & RLU.

Experience in FTP, SFTP, Webservices.

Experience with Unit / Integration Testing.

Understanding of complete SDLC - Traditional Waterfall / Agile Programming.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
