Assistant Buyer Kidswear - Toddler Girls

Job role -

1. Suggests inputs to seniors for preparing the annual sales plan of the respective brands / sub-category in the category handled.


2. Executes buying strategies of the respective brands / sub-category in the category handled to achieve the sales (Budget Achievement & growth %) and margin (Intake & Rupee margin %) targets.


3. Suggests the buying strategy / pricing strategies / ‘Sourcing Strategies’ for brands / sub-category in the category handled.


4. Plans the phasing / delivery of orders (season-wise) as per the OTB (Open To Buy) budget. ➢ Sets the range planner / updates the range planner / PLM for the season on a continuous basis.


5. Undertakes timely release of ITP (Intent to Purchase) with accuracy.


6. Ensures that merchandising team released the PO (Purchase Order) on time, to maintain OTIF (On Time In Fulfillment).


7. Interacts with vendors/brands /distributors/import markets to evaluate product innovations, new introductions and negotiates on the procurement costs.


8. Undertakes new vendor tie-ups / brand tie-ups to ensure new products, on-time delivery and right product at right costing; to achieve margin targets.


9. Evaluates the market trend analysis / competition analysis reports / customer survey reports to gather inputs for formulating the next season’s strategy.


10. Takes the initiative to undertake sampling & researching to provide inputs for the selection process.


11. Provides correct product information for the month to Visual Merchandising team / operations team to help them plan & build the wall & fixture and store space.
