Assistant Manager - Entertainment Ad Sales, YME

Job Summary

The youth content vertical at JioHotstar manages the network’s highest recall franchises. Unlike mainstream entertainment categories, this genre’s base skews heavily towards SMBs and emerging brands. Many of these prospects are new to content partnerships and currently sit outside the existing JioHotstar client ecosystem.

* Key Responsibilities

• This is an individual contributor role where you will be Identifying and developing new brand partnerships especially within the SMB and emerging advertiser segment, with a focus on clients new to content and outside the existing JioHotstar ecosystem
• Build and manage a healthy pipeline for all youth and niche IP’s.
• Manage end to end deal execution from pitch to delivery across existing and new accounts.
• Maintain strong client relationships in the South region through regular engagement and ideation.
• Collaborate with internal content and network sales teams to ensure seamless pitch and integration delivery.

* Skills & Attributes for success

• Should’ve done content sales/ brand partnerships preferably with exposure to digital first content.
• Demonstrated ability to prospect and convert new to category clients, not just manage inherited accounts.
• Strong understanding of OTT and digital content ecosystems and how brands can show up meaningfully within them.
• Someone who is comfortable operating independently, building from the ground up, and navigating a market that requires education as much as selling.

* Preferred Education & Experience

• Preferably Bachelor’s degree with 4-6 years in a fast-paced industry; with solid understanding of OTT and digital content ecosystems
