Assistant Manager - IT Infra

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer – Network & IT Infrastructure to lead and manage enterprise IT infrastructure initiatives, including network deployment, passive and fiber cabling, and video conferencing solutions. The role requires hands -on experience in greenfield project execution, structured cabling design, and ensuring high -quality, scalable, and future -ready infrastructure.

• Network & IT Infrastructure Management
  
• Plan, design, and implement LAN, WAN, and WLAN infrastructure.
  
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of network systems.
  
• Manage firewalls, switches, routers, and access points.
  
• Coordinate with ISPs and vendors for connectivity and uptime.
  

Passive & Fiber Cabling:

• Design and implement structured cabling systems (Cat6/Cat6A and fiber optic).
  
• Plan cable routes, rack layouts, and patch panel configurations.
  
• Ensure proper labeling, documentation, and cable management standards.
  
• Conduct and validate fiber testing, including optical loss measurement (OTDR, power meter).
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve physical layer and connectivity issues.
  

Greenfield Project Execution

• Lead end -to -end IT infrastructure setup for new office locations (greenfield projects).
  
• Coordinate with internal teams, OEMs, and vendors for timely execution.
  
• Ensure all infrastructure components (network, cabling, AV, power) are deployed as per design.
  
• Validate site readiness, perform UAT, and ensure smooth handover.
  

Video Conferencing & AV Solutions

• Design and deploy video conferencing solutions (e.g., Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, boardrooms).
  
• Manage AV components such as displays, cameras, microphones, codecs, and control systems.
  
• Ensure optimal audio/video quality and user experience.
  
• Troubleshoot VC and AV -related issues.
  

Project & Vendor Management

• Manage multiple vendors for cabling, networking, and AV deployments.
  
• Ensure project timelines, quality standards, and cost controls are met.
  
• Review BOQs, technical proposals, and implementation plans.
  

Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain detailed documentation including network diagrams, cabling layouts, and test reports.
  
• Ensure adherence to industry standards and internal IT policies.
  
• Conduct periodic audits and ensure compliance.
  

Preferred Certifications

• CCNA / CCNP
  
• Fiber optic certification (e.g., FOA, BICSI)

Requirements

• Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching).
  
• Hands -on experience with structured cabling and fiber optics.
  
• Expertise in optical loss testing, OTDR analysis, and fiber troubleshooting.
  
• Experience in executing greenfield IT infrastructure projects.
  
• Good knowledge of video conferencing and AV technologies.
  
• Strong vendor management and project coordination skills.
  
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem -solving abilities.
