The opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the GDS Risk Management Services (RMS) Innovation Risk function in Gurgaon, India. We are looking for an experienced professional to join our team as an Assistant Manager - Technical Lead Support, focusing on Responsible AI, emerging technology risk, compliance and technical governance. Someone who wants to grow and develop future-focused skills in Artificial Intelligence, Responsible AI, innovation risk and emerging technology governance.

You will work closely with EY Technology, Service Lines and Global Functions along with helping delivery teams adopt Responsible AI requirements through practical toolkits, checklists and training support. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced global environment and who can combine technical curiosity, risk judgment and clear communication to help teams embed AI governance into real delivery workflows.

Your responsibilities

• Support review of AI systems and solutions to align with Responsible AI requirements, security, privacy, data governance and applicable controls.


• Prepare executive communications, briefing materials, reports and presentations for leadership and engagements.


• Use tools such as EYQ, Gen AI Tools and Copilot to assist in research and advisory efforts.


• Assist in managing the AI lifecycle, from planning and development to deployment, monitoring, and retirement


• Support risk assessment and approval checkpoints for higher-risk use cases by documenting decisions, conditions and action items.


• Track progress on key projects and initiatives, ensuring timely updates and follow-ups.


• Contribute to Innovation Risk control framework and RACM alignment by coordinating with control owners, gathering evidence and helping close identified gaps.


• Develop research briefs and thought leadership papers on emerging risks when required.


• Support preparation of dashboards, trackers, escalation summaries and management reporting.


• Provide advisory support and escalate key risks or issues to leadership when needed.

Technical Skills

• Knows how to use digital tools such as EYQ and other generative AI platforms.


• Understanding of quality and risk management principles.


• Proficient in Microsoft office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.


• Strong Research and analytical skills.


• Understanding of emerging technology risks such as agentic automation, Hyperscaler automation, blockchain and quantum computing will be an advantage.


• Familiarity with Responsible AI, risk assessment, governance processes, and related documentation.

Experience and qualifications:

• Post Graduate degree or equivalent professional qualification in Technology, Business Administration, Risk Management, Compliance or a related field.


• 8-10 years of relevant experience across technology delivery, technology risk, risk management or compliance in complex enterprise environments.


• Certifications in risk, compliance are an added advantage.


• Project management, technology risk, information security, privacy, compliance or AI governance certifications are a plus; working in a Risk Management domain is preferable
