The Luxembourg Client Service Team is looking to recruit a Client Service Administrator to support mainly the distribution of the Morgan Stanley Investment Funds (MS INVF) and the other Morgan Stanley European Funds more generically.
The candidate should have a good understanding of all aspect of the European Fund industry including but not limited to:
- The legal structure of a European (SICAV, SIF, OEICs) registered fund;
- An understanding of the roles of the various services providers associated with this product;
- Previous experience of the Anti Money Laundering requirements associate with this type of product including requirements of clients in Non-GAFI countries and Private Placement Rules;
- An understanding of European Funds Legislation.
Working in a team dedicated to all the markets where our European Funds are registered, She/He will report to the Team Leader. She/He will have responsibility for providing client service assistance and customer relation management services to a range of Intermediaries located mainly in United Kingdom investing in the MS INVF and OEIC.
The Client Service Administrator's main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Client take On for intermediary clients: The Fund Client Service Administrator should work with Sales/legal to ensure the necessary sub distribution agreements / rebates letter are in place. She/He should also work closely with the relevant Transfer Agent in the setting up of new clients and monitoring the initial transitions;
- Support to Distribution: She/He will support daily queries raised by Clients (Institutional, Distributors, Intermediaries, Clearing Agents) but also key stakeholder such as IT, Financial Controller Group (FCG), Sales, Client Asset Management Team (CRM), Product or Intermediary Due Diligence. As part of the oversight and fund governance functions, she/he will assist on large trade processing, trade correction, below minimum handling and claims relating to late payments and trades Oversight of Remuneration Process: She/He should have a thorough understanding of the remuneration process and should work closely with the Financial Controller's area to ensure that commission payments are made on a timely basis;
- Fund Client Reporting Coordination: The Fund Client Service Administrator will be responsible for all aspects of client reporting, including pricing information, investment reports, static data reports etc.
- Participation if and when required to projects and initiatives across Funds Operations Client Services.
The Fund Client Service Administrator will need to build close relationships with a number of colleagues including Fund Administration, Product Management and the Financial Controllers Group to ensure consistent best practise is adopted in supporting all of the Morgan Stanley European Funds.
She/He should have a strong focus on her/his Internals stakeholders including, the Sales teams. What you'll bring to the role:
- Ability to establish clear goals and priorities, and address non-standard issues within area of expertise with minimal guidance and supervision
- Subject matter expertise in business area supported, client requirements, and ability to ensure control is not compromised to comply with client requests
- Culture carrier across Operations, embracing the Firm's core values
- The candidate should be educated to degree level; She/He should have at least three to five years customer service experience with a Transfer Agent or Mutual Fund Company; She/He will be expected to have good organisational & time management skills, exceptional communication and presentation skills.
Working languages is English, as well as advanced knowledge of MS office software is required (Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook).
