BPM India Advisory Service Private Limited - Formerly known as “Burr Pilger Mayer India Private Limited”. (BPM India) is a subsidiary of BPM LLP. Founded in 1986, BPM is one of the largest California-based accounting and consulting firms, ranking in the top 50 in the country. With 19 different office locations, BPM serves emerging and mid-cap businesses as well as high-net-worth individuals in a broad range of industries, including financial services, technology, life science, manufacturing, food, wine and craft brewing, automotive, nonprofits, real estate and construction. The Firm’s International Tax Practice is one of the largest on the West Coast and its well-recognized SEC practice serves approximately 32 public reporting companies, mostly in the technology industry.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively assisting in all stages of the audit engagement, including planning, with the main area of emphasis being the execution of the fieldwork.
- Identify significant matters noted during fieldwork and promptly bring them to the attention of the engagement in charge and manager.
- Ensuring work/sections assigned are completed to a high standard, on time, and within the agreed-upon budget with the engagement in charge and manager.
- Maintain up-to-date and relevant technical knowledge of the industry.
- Building productive working relationships within the Firm and with clients as required.
- Develop and apply your technical knowledge through on-the-job training.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 1 year of relevant post-qualification experience with BIG 4s/international accounting firm.
- CA/CPA/ACCA is mandatory.
- Strong command of the English Language
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong desire to continuously learn.
- Competently analyzes and prioritizes information to make appropriate recommendations.
- Ability to synthesize all forms of research into clear, thoughtful, actionable deliverables.
- Begin to understand client needs, identifies root causes of problems, and implements pragmatic solutions.
- Strong command over MS Office tools
- Enjoy working as part of a team and self-motivated.
