Associate Level 1 - QA

RMgX Technologies is a Digital Product Engineering firm focused on AI-powered product development, digital transformation, and complex systems integration. We are seeking a Data Specialist to play a key role in a mission-critical project. The role demands deep expertise in databases, ETL processes, and data workflows, with a strong sense of ownership and structured way of working. You will play a critical role in ensuring reliable, accurate, and scalable data systems that power the products and systems developed by RMgX

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with the development team to understand software requirements and specifications.
• Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate software functionality.
• Defect documentation and having oversight over defect lifecycle.
• Participate in the design and implementation of automated test suit.
• Provide detailed and clear bug reports to the development team.
• Work with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing.

• Completed BE, B.Tech, MCA, or equivalent
• ISTQB Foundation certification preferred.

WORK EXPERIENCE

• 0-1 year of experience in software testing.

SKILLS, ABILITIES & KNOWLEDGE

• Solid understanding of SDLC and corresponding QA activities
• Good practical knowledge of test management and reporting tools preferably Jira
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong problem solving and analytical capabilities,
• Ability to be decisive and detail-oriented
• Ability to function with minimal oversight and work under pressure
• Willing to learn and implement test automation frameworks
• Understanding of any Object-Oriented Language preferably Java
• Understanding of API and familiarity with Postman

Preferred Skills:

• Working knowledge of JavaScript and Playwright for test automation.
• Exposure to automation frameworks and scripting concepts is an added advantage.
