This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Associate Principal Engineer, Salesforce Health Cloud based in India.
This is a senior technical leadership role focused on architecting and delivering enterprise-scale Salesforce Health Cloud solutions for complex healthcare ecosystems. You will lead end-to-end solution design across patient/member management platforms, ensuring scalable, secure, and compliant healthcare implementations. The role involves defining architecture strategies, guiding development teams, and translating intricate healthcare requirements into robust Salesforce solutions. You will work across integrations, data models, automation, and healthcare-specific standards such as FHIR and HL7. The environment is highly collaborative and consulting-driven, requiring strong stakeholder engagement across technical and business leadership. This role blends deep hands-on engineering expertise with architectural governance and strategic platform ownership.
Accountabilities:
- Lead end-to-end architecture and delivery of Salesforce Health Cloud solutions for large-scale healthcare enterprise implementations.
- Define scalable solution designs across Health Cloud capabilities including patient/member profiles, care plans, care programs, care teams, and healthcare data models.
- Drive integration architecture using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware platforms, and healthcare standards such as FHIR and HL7.
- Provide technical leadership across Salesforce core features including Apex, LWC, Flows, Triggers, Batch Apex, and API integrations.
- Oversee full delivery lifecycle including requirements analysis, solution design, development oversight, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
- Conduct design and code reviews, enforce best practices, and ensure system scalability, security, and performance optimization.
- Mentor distributed engineering teams and collaborate with program managers to manage scope, risks, and delivery timelines.
- Drive innovation through PoCs, platform enhancements, and continuous improvement of Salesforce Health Cloud capabilities.
Requirements:
- 9+ years of experience in Salesforce ecosystem with strong expertise in Health Cloud architecture and enterprise implementations.
- Deep functional and technical knowledge of Salesforce Health Cloud including care management, patient/member lifecycle, care gaps, and utilization management.
- Strong hands-on experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, Triggers, Batch Apex, and Salesforce APIs.
- Proven expertise in designing integration architectures using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and healthcare standards like FHIR and HL7.
- Strong understanding of EHR/EMR systems, payer/provider workflows, and healthcare data exchange models.
- Experience leading Agile and Scaled Agile delivery environments, including sprint planning and release management.
- Strong DevOps experience with tools such as Copado, Git, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins.
- Ability to define scalable, secure, and compliant architectures aligned with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA and PHI standards.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills with a strong consulting mindset.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
