Are you an experienced and passionate product designer with a love for sports and a talent for crafting exceptional mobile experiences?

At FanCode, we’re on a mission to redefine how fans connect with live sports through our innovative digital app, and we’re looking for someone like you to lead the charge. With at least 10+ years of product design experience, you’ll have the opportunity to lead and inspire a talented team of designers, driving the entire design process from concept to launch. You’ll collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other key stakeholders to create user-centric mobile products that resonate with millions of sports fans. • Coach & mentor a team of designers, fostering collaboration, providing guidance, and supporting professional growth.
• Oversee the entire design cycle from problem identification to launch, ensuring a user-focused approach.
• Develop and execute quarterly design strategies aligned with business goals and user needs, breaking solutions into actionable agile iterations.
• Analyse various metrics to derive insights & maintain a strategic balance between long-term vision and immediate actions. 
• Be hands-on in working with various teams to design concepts & solutions in line with the product vision. 
• Work closely with product & tech leads to define goals, and design requirements and ensure alignment. You must be adaptable and deal with some degree of ambiguity & change.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve our products.
• Optimise design operations and continuously refine processes for greater efficiency and impact.

• Over 10+ years in hands-on high-fidelity product design with a portfolio showcasing proven success in delivering impactful, measurable product outcomes.
• Experienced in leading a team of designers, with strong mentoring skills and the ability to provide clear, constructive & actionable design feedback.
• Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, with a portfolio showcasing their successful application in products.
• Strong ability to measure design impact using research and data analysis.
• Excellent at presenting and communicating design decisions, with a talent for influencing stakeholders.
• Strong critical and creative problem-solving skills to address design challenges effectively.
• Proficient in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and other relevant design software.
• Thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments with a positive attitude and openness to change.

• Known certifications/qualifications in the field of design, HCI, engineering, or user research.
• Experience in creating, implementing, and applying a design system across multiple platforms, ensuring consistent brand language throughout the company.
• Experience with agile methodologies and working in an agile environment.
• Knowledge of front-end development and the technical aspects of mobile design.
• Experience working with global or distributed teams.
