Asst. Manager Development

Project Co-ordination:

1. Single point of coordination
   between Marketing, Sourcing, Application Engineering, QA/QC, PRD, store and ME
   
2. Prepare Gantt Chart from
   customer RFQ to customer PPAP and SOP.
   
3. Organize CFT meeting for NPD review/updates
   on regular basis
   
4. Ensure effective communication
   and timely closure of all project activities.
   
5. Achieve project completion within committed
   timeline
   

Part Mfg Feasibility :

1. Collect CSR and product
   specific requirement from AE,QA,MKT dept related to mfg process, infrastructure,
   technical, quality, packaging, EHS, conflict material and restricted
   material. 
   
2. Prepare project feasibility reports based on
   above customer inputs (point no 6), internal mfg - inspection feasibility,
   availability of mfg machine, capacity
   
3. Submit feasibility NPD to MKT/AE team within
   specified timeframe
   

NPD :

1.  Lead project execution from RFQ to customer
   PPAP and SOP
   
2. Monitor
   all activity from drawing receipt, proto sample, tooling development,
   validation.
   
3. Ensure
   all project milestones are achieved as per Gantt Chart
   
4. Monitor project expenditure against approved
   target
   
5. Incorporate TGW, TGR
   

 Compliance:

1. Ensure CSR, statutory, environmental requirements.
   
2. Ensure compliance with  APQP,
   PPAP manuals,  company procedures and
   quality management system
   

Risk Management:

1. Identify project risks and potential delays at early stage
   
2. Take proactive actions to eliminate or minimize delay risk
   
3. Escalate critical concerns to management and get required support
   
4. Implement recovery plans to ensure achievement of project milestones 
   

Accountability:

1. Accountable for successful execution of projects from Customer RFQ to
   SOP
   
2. Accountable for identifying potential delays and implementing recovery
   plan
   
3. Accountable for timely completion of internal PPAP,
   
4. Accountable for maintaining accurate project reports – quality, cost
   delivery 
   

Authority:

1. To conduct / arrange project review
   meetings 
   
2. Authority to obtain project status from
   various functions
   
3. To escalate project delays , risks,
   resources requirement to HOD.
   
4. ​To escalate if project
   cost going up against target
