As an Audit & Assurance - Products & Services (Admin) - Senior Associate, you will focus on providing independent and objective assessments of financial statements, internal controls, and other assurable information, enhancing the credibility and reliability of this information with a variety of stakeholders. As a Senior Associate, you will build meaningful client connections, learn how to manage and inspire others, and navigate increasingly complex situations to grow your personal brand and deepen your technical skills. In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will evaluate compliance with regulations, assess governance and risk management processes, and related controls within our Assurance practice. You will be expected to anticipate the needs of your teams and clients, delivering quality work while embracing increased ambiguity. This position offers the opportunity to develop a deeper understanding of the business context and how it is evolving, using critical thinking to break down complex concepts and interpret data to inform insights and recommendations. You will uphold and reinforce professional and technical standards, contributing to the firm's overall business strategies.
Responsibilities
- Perform work and provide related deliverables in accordance with DC User Guide instructions as applied to engagement team work request submissions
- Maintain working knowledge of DC User Guides
- Monitor time and manage deadlines
- Adhere to PwC SDC policies and procedures
- Participate in training, coaching and other developmental opportunities
- Performs the quality check on all deliverables to ensure they are consistent with laid down quality parameters
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent.
- At least 4 years of experience
- Independently manage assigned tasks with minimal supervision ensuring timely and accurate completion
What Sets You Apart
- Update, reconcile and maintain records in the central entity system, ensuring data integrity and consistency. Coordinate with various departments to gather necessary information to complete system updates and reconciliations.
- Perform regular reconciliations of financial data, accounts, and reports to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist in preparation of documentation and reports as required by the finance and administration teams.
- Support day-to-day administrative duties including filing, data entry, and correspondence management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
- Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy of system updates and reconciliations.
- Prepare documents based on audit policy and standard templates, including information gathering and population of templates and documents.
