As an Audit and Assurance - Sustainability Assurance - Senior Associate, you will engage in evaluating compliance with regulations and assessing governance and risk management processes. Within our Assurance practice, you will focus on obtaining limited or reasonable validation about sustainability reporting, helping organizations and their stakeholders build trust in their sustainability strategy and performance.

As a Senior Associate, you will develop meaningful client connections and learn how to manage and inspire others. You will navigate increasingly complex situations, growing your personal brand and deepening your technical skills. You are expected to anticipate the needs of your teams and clients, delivering quality work. In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will assess the existence of gaps between disclosure and sustainability reporting frameworks, test data quality and controls, and contribute to the credibility and reliability of financial statements and internal controls. Your work will be instrumental in enhancing the credibility of sustainability reporting, fostering trust, and supporting compliance with relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

- Conducting sustainability audits to evaluate compliance with relevant regulations and frameworks
- Analyzing sustainability reporting to identify gaps and recommend improvements
- Testing data quality and controls to validate the accuracy of sustainability metrics
- Collaborating with clients to understand their sustainability strategies and performance objectives
- Utilizing analytical thinking to interpret data and provide actionable insights
- Engaging in stakeholder discussions to enhance sustainability reporting processes
- Applying knowledge of climate change risk management to assess potential impacts on client operations
- Developing and maintaining client relationships to support ongoing sustainability initiatives
- Leveraging data visualization techniques to present findings in a clear and impactful manner
- Supporting the development of sustainability strategies by providing informed recommendations

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 2 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
