About Guardian Capital
Guardian Capital is an Elite Wealth and Asset Management firm, recognised as the Best Investment Advisory Firm across India by CNBCTV18. We offer a comprehensive suite of services — Wealth Management, Financial Planning, Portfolio Advisory, and Taxation — all under one roof, customised to fit each client's unique financial journey.
We are not a mass -market firm. Every client relationship we build is founded on trust, discretion, and a deep commitment to making a meaningful difference in the financial lives of the families who choose to partner with us.
Guardian Capital is currently in its growth phase — deliberately small, senior -led, and hungry to scale. For the right individual, this means outsized learning, early ownership, and a front -row seat to how a high -growth financial services firm is built.
Role Overview
The AVP, CEO's Office is a strategy and execution partner to the CEO and senior leadership — a hybrid position sitting at the intersection of strategic planning, project management, business development, and operational governance.
You will work directly with the CEO on the firm's most critical priorities: translating vision into action, building new business lines, driving cross -functional alignment, and ensuring the organisation operates with clarity and discipline.
This role is designed for someone who wants to understand how a firm is built from the inside — and who wants to be at the table when consequential decisions are made.
This role is ideal for:
- Early -career professionals with 1–2 years in finance, consulting, investment banking, or strategy
- MBA freshers with substantive internship experience in finance or strategy roles
- Individuals who are highly analytical, extremely organised, and motivated by impact over title
Key Responsibilities
Pillar 1: Strategic Initiatives & Business Planning
- Partner with the CEO to translate the firm's vision into concrete annual and quarterly strategic plans with clear execution roadmaps.
- Lead multiple concurrent strategic projects end -to -end: define objectives, set milestones, track progress, and present performance reports to senior leadership.
- Identify opportunities for revenue growth, cost optimisation, process automation, and capacity improvement — backed by rigorous data analysis.
- Conduct market, competitive, and operational research to inform pricing decisions, product scope, and client segmentation strategies.
- Ensure cross -functional alignment so that every team's priorities are consistent with the firm's overarching strategy.
Pillar 2: New Business & Growth Execution
- Collaborate with the CEO and senior leaders to design, structure, and launch new business lines, practice areas, or service offerings.
- Develop business cases, operating models, and go -to -market plans for new initiatives — including target client profiles, pricing models, rollout timelines, and success metrics.
- Manage pilot programmes and early -stage projects: track performance, gather feedback, and iterate based on real -world results.
- Coordinate with Finance, Operations, Compliance, and Client -Facing teams to ensure new ventures are scalable, compliant, and commercially viable.
Pillar 3: Cross -Functional Collaboration & Governance
- Serve as the key bridge between the CEO and internal business units — ensuring clear communication, disciplined prioritisation, and reliable execution.
- Drive structured weekly and monthly leadership reviews, tracking financial KPIs, growth metrics, and client engagement trends.
- Facilitate decision -making by consolidating stakeholder inputs, surfacing risks early, and helping leadership evaluate trade -offs.
- Own the tracking of strategic priorities across teams — ensuring deadlines are met and roadblocks are resolved promptly.
Pillar 4: Leadership Support & CEO Shadowing
- Shadow the CEO in internal and external engagements — including client meetings, board discussions, and partner conversations — to build deep strategic context.
- Prepare concise briefings, talking points, presentations, and post -meeting summaries capturing decisions, action items, and next steps.
- Manage the CEO's calendar strategically, balancing focus time, client relationship building, and operational oversight.
- Act as a trusted thought partner: ask the right questions, challenge assumptions constructively, and help sharpen strategies before implementation.
