Job Description - AWS Engineer

Key Responsibilities

ï· Design, deploy, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure and services

ï· Configure and maintain AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM,
Lambda, CloudWatch, and ELB

ï· Implement high availability, scalability, and fault -tolerant architectures

ï· Automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or
AWS CloudFormation

ï· Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize cloud costs

ï· Ensure cloud security, compliance, and best practices (IAM, security groups,
encryption, backups)

ï· Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes

ï· Perform backups, disaster recovery planning, and system upgrades

ï· Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams

Required Skills & Qualifications

ï· Strong hands -on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM,
CloudWatch)

ï· Experience with Linux/Unix administration

ï· Knowledge of networking concepts (DNS, TCP/IP, Load Balancing, Firewalls)

ï· Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / CloudFormation)

ï· Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline)

ï· Experience with monitoring and logging tools

ï· Basic scripting skills (Bash, Python preferred)

ï· Understanding of security best practices in AWS

Good to Have

ï· AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect / SysOps / DevOps Engineer)

ï· Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS)

ï· Exposure to serverless architecture (Lambda, API Gateway)

ï· Cost optimization and performance tuning experience

ï· Experience with multi -account AWS environments
Soft Skills

ï· Strong problem -solving and analytical skills

ï· Good communication and documentation skills

ï· Ability to work independently and in a team environment

ï· Willingness to learn and adapt to new cloud technologies
