BackEnd Developer - Bangalore, India - JPMC

We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable server-side applications and APIs. The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills, experience with backend frameworks, databases, and cloud technologies, and a passion for building high-performance systems that power modern web and mobile applications.

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services, APIs, and microservices.


• Build scalable, secure, and high-performance applications.


• Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and QA teams to deliver robust solutions.


• Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and data models.


• Integrate third-party services, APIs, and payment gateways as required.


• Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices.


• Monitor application performance and troubleshoot production issues.


• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.


• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical design discussions.


• Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.


• 2–5 years of experience in backend development.


• Strong proficiency in one or more backend programming languages such as Java, Python, Node.js, Go, or C#.


• Experience building RESTful APIs and web services.


• Hands-on experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Redis.


• Understanding of software design patterns and data structures.


• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.


• Knowledge of debugging, testing, and performance optimization techniques.

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.


• Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.


• Experience with microservices architecture and event-driven systems.


• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.


• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
