Level 2 Transaction Monitoring Investigator (AML/CFT) \u2013 Job description \u2013 Grade 5\n\nAbout the Role \nWe are seeking an experienced Level 2 Transaction Monitoring Investigator to manage escalated AML/CFT cases, perform deep\u2011dive investigations, and finalize STR/SAR decisions. Ideal for professionals with strong regulatory understanding and narrative-writing skills. \nKey Responsibilities \n\u2022 Handle escalated TM alerts and close cases with final disposition. \n\u2022 Draft and finalize STR/SAR reports. \n\u2022 Perform customer and transaction analysis across products \n\u2022 Identify ML/TF typologies (structuring, layering, TBML, sanctions evasion). \n\u2022 Mentor L1/L2 analysts and provide quality oversight. \n\u2022 Support scenario tuning and false\u2011positive reduction. \n\u2022 Ensure SLA adherence and maintain investigation quality. \nRequired Experience \n\u2022 3\u20135+ years in Transaction Monitoring investigations (For G5) \n\u2022 Strong STR/SAR drafting experience. \n\u2022 Knowledge of KYC/CDD/EDD and sanctions frameworks. \n\u2022 Experience with audits and compliance reviews. \nSkills \u0026 Tools \n\u2022 TM Tools: Actimize, Mantas/NICE, SAS AML, Oracle FCCM, FICO, Napier \n\u2022 Screening tools: World\u2011Check, Dow Jones, ComplyAdvantage. \n\u2022 Analytics: Excel (Advanced), Power BI/Tableau. \n\u2022 Strong written communication and analytical skills. \nPreferred Certifications \nCAMS, CFE, ICA AML/Compliance (preferred). \nAttributes \n\u2022 Strong decision\u2011making ability. \n\u2022 Attention to detail. \n\u2022 Ability to interact with regulators. \n\u2022 Leadership and mentoring capability.\n
