We are looking for a driven and customer-focused Sales Manager – Amazon Advertising SaaS to drive client acquisition and revenue growth for a technology-led marketplace advertising solution. The role focuses on selling SaaS solutions to D2C brands, Amazon sellers, and marketplace businesses across India.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in the Amazon ecosystem, SaaS sales, marketplace advertising, lead generation, client acquisition, and deal closure, with the ability to understand customer challenges and demonstrate how technology can improve marketplace performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and manage a strong sales pipeline by identifying D2C brands, Amazon sellers, and marketplace businesses across India.
• Prospect and qualify potential customers based on their marketplace presence, advertising activity, business size, and growth requirements.
• Engage decision-makers and performance marketing teams to understand business objectives, challenges, and advertising needs.
• Conduct discovery meetings, product presentations, demonstrations, and solution discussions.
• Clearly communicate the value of marketplace advertising technology and SaaS solutions to prospective customers.
• Develop customized solutions in collaboration with internal Product, Marketing, and other teams.
• Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation and qualification through negotiation and deal closure.
• Prepare commercial proposals and negotiate pricing and terms within approved guidelines.
• Build strong relationships with customers and ensure a smooth transition from sales to account management or implementation teams.
• Manage and grow existing customer accounts by identifying upselling, cross-selling, and expansion opportunities.
• Develop a strong understanding of Amazon, Flipkart, and other marketplace ecosystems and their advertising dynamics.
• Track sales activities, pipeline movement, meetings, conversions, and closures using CRM and reporting tools.
• Use customer and marketplace data to identify opportunities and support consultative sales conversations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer requirements and improve the overall sales process.
• Stay updated on marketplace advertising trends, category dynamics, customer acquisition strategies, and competitive developments.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• 1–5 years of experience in sales, business development, SaaS sales, marketplace sales, or a related commercial role.
• Mandatory experience in the Amazon ecosystem, preferably selling SaaS, advertising, technology, or services to Amazon sellers.
• Proven track record of client acquisition, sales meetings, pipeline development, negotiations, and deal closures.
• Strong understanding of Amazon advertising and marketplace advertising tools.
• Familiarity with Amazon, Flipkart, and other Indian marketplace ecosystems.
• Ability to understand customer business objectives, advertising challenges, product categories, and growth opportunities.
• Strong consultative selling and problem-solving skills with a customer-first approach.
• Excellent spoken and written communication and presentation skills.
• Comfortable working with sales data, performance metrics, advertising KPIs, and marketplace insights.
• Strong negotiation, relationship management, and account-growth capabilities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with Product, Marketing, Operations, and other internal teams.
• Self-motivated, target-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-growing business environment.
• Willingness to work beyond standard business hours when customer or business requirements demand it.
• Existing relationships with Amazon-selling brands or D2C businesses will be an advantage.
• An Engineering or MBA background is desirable but not mandatory.
