Job Description - CAD Expert

Job Description: Trainer -Structural Engineering.

Indovance is a fast-paced growing company that is looking for a dynamic individual that can work as a Trainer for Structural Engineering projects. (US Based)

The job description includes:

â¢ Training Development & Delivery: Design, develop, and deliver training modules covering structural engineering fundamentals, load calculations, and design methodologies.

â¢ Mentorship & Evaluation: Mentor junior engineers, review their work, and conduct regular assessments to track their learning progress

â¢ Curriculum Updates: Keep training materials aligned with current industryâs best practices, environmental regulations, and local/international building codes

â¢ Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with senior engineering teams to identify skill gaps and design specialized training to address them

â¢ Software Skill: Must be Familiar with Structural software â Enercalc, Forte web, Revit Structure, AutoCAD, RISA, Tekla, etc

â¢ Codes known - ASCE 7, IBC, ACI 318, AISC 360, AISC 341, AISI S100, NDS, TMS 402/602, ASCE 41, AWC SDPWS.

Desired Candidate

â¢ Education â BE (Civil) 3 -4 years of structural engineering experience (including teaching or mentoring experience.

â¢ Technical Skills: Expert in RCC and Structural Steel Drawings, Wood design, Residential and commercial projects

â¢ Knowledge of Multifamily Framing, Load calculations, Finalize frame sizes, Beam load calculations, Shear wall design, Foundations, laterals. Steel connections

â¢ Sound knowledge of all Structural Codes

â¢ Attention to details, and an attitude to never compromise with quality.

â¢ Process oriented.

Requirements

Software Skill: Must be Familiar with Structural software â Enercalc, Forte web, Revit Structure, AutoCAD, RISA, Tekla, etc
