Analyst | Client & Account Data Services (SPE/SME)
Profile Summary
Looking
for a Capital Markets operations professional with 4–7+ years of experience to
support Client & Account Data Services (CADS). The role covers data
quality, account onboarding and maintenance, reconciliations, SSI management,
corporate actions, operational risk controls and global stakeholder
coordination.
Educational Qualification
•Bachelor's
degree in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration or a related discipline
•MBA
or relevant financial services certification is an added advantage
•Knowledge
of Capital Markets operations and the trade lifecycle is preferred
Expertise & Competencies
•Strong
understanding of client, account, reference and static data management
•Knowledge
of trading, custody and settlement account setup processes
•Experience
in Standard Settlement Instructions (SSIs) and settlement operations
•Strong
analytical, reconciliation and exception management skills
•Understanding
of operational risk controls, payment controls and oversight
•Effective
stakeholder management across Front Office and Data Infrastructure teams
•Ability
to manage priorities in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
•Strong
written and verbal communication skills
•Advanced
Excel, management information and reporting skills preferred
Work Experience
•4–7+
years in Capital Markets, Investment Banking, Asset Management or Financial
Services Operations
•Hands-on
experience in account onboarding, reference data, SSI management or
reconciliations
•Knowledge
of global settlement markets and post-trade operations preferred
•Experience
supporting global financial institutions, investment banks or asset managers
•Exposure
to market data, trading, settlement or workflow platforms is advantageous
Role and Responsibilities / Job
Description
•Perform
data quality reviews and maintain accurate, complete client, account and
settlement data across systems and repositories
•Manage
end-to-end onboarding, maintenance, amendment and closure requests for trading,
custody and settlement accounts
•Support
the establishment of trading and settlement accounts, ensuring documentation
and setup requirements are completed on time
•Perform
reconciliations between trading systems and central data repositories;
investigate and resolve breaks within agreed timelines
•Track,
document and escalate exceptions, identify root causes and drive corrective
actions
•Onboard,
validate, set up and maintain Standard Settlement Instructions (SSIs) in line
with market and control requirements
•Coordinate
SSI changes and settlement exceptions with Front Office, Operations, Custodians
and Counterparties
•Support
corporate actions processing and validate client or account data impacted by
market events
•Perform
payment and operational risk event controls, oversight checks and breach
reporting
•Ensure
adherence to internal controls, audit evidence, data governance and regulatory
requirements
•Partner
with Front Office, Trading Desks, Operations and Data Infrastructure teams to
resolve operational queries
•Provide
timely status updates, participate in governance forums and maintain effective
stakeholder relationships
•Monitor
service levels, maintain process documentation and support continuous
improvement or automation opportunities
