CAE Testing

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for CAE applications and custom workflows.
  
• Execute end -to -end QA activities across the software development lifecycle to ensure high product quality and release readiness.
  
• Do Python scripting or CPP coding
  
• Review requirements, user stories, and design documents to ensure testability and develop effective test scenarios and automated test suites.
  
• Design and perform manual and automated functional, stress, and performance testing, with clear documentation of results and findings.
  
• Investigate defects, perform root cause analysis, and provide clear reproduction steps using logs and diagnostic tools.
  
• Collaborate with Development, DevOps, Product Management, and Documentation teams to support quality objectives and timely issue resolution.
  
• Proactively translate manual test cases into efficient automated scripts to improve coverage, speed up feedback cycles, while designing tests that effectively validate new and existing functional.
  

Requirements

• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Perl.
  
  
• Hands -on automation experience with tools and frameworks like Ranorex, Selenium, Squish or similar.Good understanding of SDLC
  
  
• Exposure or experience with software development for desktop simulations products like Hyperworks, and/or FEA solver tools (e.g. OptiStruct, NASTRAN, ABAQUS, RADIOSS, etc.)
  

• Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering, or a related technical field
  
  
• Experience: 1–3 years of professional experience in Software Quality Engineering
  
  
• Domain Knowledge: Exposure to or experience with desktop simulation products such as Simcenter (CAD/CAE software)
  
  
• Scripting Skills: Proficiency in Python and/or C, or similar
  
  
• Automation Experience: Hands -on experience with frameworks/tools such as Pytest, Ranorex, Selenium, or similar
