Job Description & Summary

At PwC Acceleration Centre, our Capital Markets (Sales & Trading) Operations Consulting practice helps clients streamline processes, improve productivity, and drive business performance. Our teams analyze client needs, develop operational strategies, and provide guidance to optimize results.

As a Capital Markets Senior Associate, you will bring a broad understanding of operations consulting to support clients across a range of engagements. You will analyze client needs, develop tailored solutions, and offer recommendations aligned to specific business requirements.

Meaningful work you'll be part of

As a PwC AC Senior Associate you will be an integral part of our dynamic team, supporting critical projects and initiatives that address complex business challenges from strategy development to execution. Your contributions will help deliver meaningful results for our clients in Capital Markets.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Client Engagement Delivery: Support the execution of client engagements by assisting with project workstreams, communicating findings clearly, conducting research and synthesizing data into useful outputs, and building familiarity with the client's business and technology strategy through research, interviews, and hypothesis testing.

Innovation and Efficiency: Help identify opportunities to improve efficiency and support the implementation of innovative practices across projects and environments.

Supporting Business Development: Assist team members in preparing project proposals, points of view (PoVs), resource plans, and project estimations for client engagements, supporting integration across lines of services and global capabilities as needed.

Client Relationship Support: Assist senior team members in maintaining collaborative client relationships across front office, operations, risk and technology functions to support ongoing delivery and business development efforts.

Client focus will be centered on Financial Markets participants including Wholesale Capital Markets, Corporate Cash Management, Asset Management, Wealth Management, Treasury Trading, Commodities Trading, and Digital Assets.

Market Awareness: Stay informed of industry trends to support client delivery and contribute to insights that inform engagement planning.

Team Collaboration: Share knowledge with colleagues, assist with onboarding, and participate in recruitment activities to strengthen the team's delivery capacity.

Experiences and skills you'll use to solve

  • 5-7 years of experience within industry or consulting roles, with a focus on any of the following client segments: Wholesale Capital Markets, Asset Management, Wealth Management, Treasury Cash Management & Trading, Commodities Trading, or Digital Assets is considered an asset.
  • Masters or MBA in Finance/Financial Markets or related from Tier-1 B-school is strongly preferred.
  • Self-motivated with a passion for client work and teamwork, and an ability to multitask and manage ambiguity in a dynamic working environment.
  • Transformation Program Experience: Experience contributing to complex, large-scale transformation programs within the above client segments.
  • Technological Proficiency: Familiarity with technology capabilities and key vendor landscapes relevant to the above client segments.
  • Experience contributing to the development of technology strategies and roadmaps, including familiarity with various frameworks and methodologies, to support the delivery of as-is, future state and transformed services.
