Job Description - Civil & Structural Designer

Develop 2D structural and civil drawings using AutoCAD for oil & gas projects

Prepare detailed drawings including:

General Arrangement (GA) drawings
Foundations (equipment, pipe racks, tanks)
Structural steel detailing
Reinforced concrete (RCC) detailing

Interpret design inputs from engineers and convert them into accurate drawings

Coordinate with structural engineers, piping, mechanical, and electrical teams

Ensure compliance with industry standards such as IS, ACI, ASTM, API codes

Review and revise drawings based on project requirements and site feedback.

Maintain drawing documentation and version control

Support material take -offs and estimation activities

Requirements

Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering

3–8 years of experience in civil/structural drafting (preferably in oil & gas)

Strong expertise in AutoCAD (2D drafting)

Good understanding of structural systems (steel & RCC)

Experience in industrial projects such as refineries, petrochemical plants, or LNG facilities
