CNC Setter Cum Operator

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Operator and Setup Technician with hands-on experience in 4th and 5th axis machining. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, precision-focused practices, and experience operating advanced CNC machines while maintaining production quality standards. 

Key Responsibilities

• Operate 4th- and 5th-axis CNC machines efficiently and safely.


• Read and interpret machining drawings and process documentation.


• Record production data and inspection results for tracking and quality purposes.


• Load and unload raw materials, replace worn tools, and perform machine calibration.


• Monitor production processes to detect issues, deviations, or defects and take corrective action.


• Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and housekeeping (5S) standards throughout machining operations.

Required Qualifications

• Strong ability to read engineering drawings, including GD&T and process drawings.


• Basic knowledge of CNC programming.


• Experience with DMG MORI and HEIDENHAIN CNC control systems.


• Hands-on exposure to simultaneous 5-axis machining and turn-mill (mill-turn) machines.


• Experience using precision measuring instruments and documenting inspection reports.


• Knowledge of production documentation, 5S practices, cutting tools, and fixtures.
