Job Description - Communications Analyst

Partner with training peers and business partners to assess/analyze goals and objectives of learning priorities/projects and create design recommendations and strategies for training deliverables using ADDIE (or comparable) methodology.
• Manage end to end creation of training including design/development of content, assisting with business partner reviews, evaluation, and measurement. Assess and maintain quality of training content throughout the process based on established set of standards.
• Content Design/Development - Work with licensed subject matter experts to design storyboard and develop instructor-led, e-learning, video, blended, and other content. Ensure that instructional design principles and industry standards and specifications are adhered to in all phases of design.
• Utilize design and publishing tools such as Articulate Storyline 360, Captivate, Camtasia, Snag-It, Microsoft Office, and more. Utilize multiple mediums in development of distance-learning: tutorial, video, audio, gamification, polling, social-learning and testing.
• Evaluation - Create evaluation, measurement, and metrics strategies for learning priorities leveraging the Kirkpatrick model, and collaborating with appropriate reporting/sales metrics teams within the firm.
• Content Management - maintain existing content with an eye toward continuous improvement while adhering to content archival and upkeep SLAs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Designs and develops training in a variety of formats (e.g. Articulate Storyline, Audio, etc.) based on content provided by subject matter experts.

  • Consults with team on design of course and offers insight or suggestions for using technology to meet learning goals.

  • Support end to end trainings implementation process, which includes, training launch, tracking, auditing and reporting through various reporting tools.

  • Verifies that the materials follow style guides and that the format is correct. Performs online course-ware testing.

  • Manage multiple and evolving priorities, expectations and concerns working closely with the business partners and the team members in a focused and responsive manner.

 
Required Qualifications

  • Graduate/Post Graduate from any reputed university

  • 3-5 years of experience in instructional design, content development with understanding of training and design strategy

  • Thorough understanding and experience of different training product types like apps simulations, WBT, ILT, job aids, and QRCs

  • Hands-on experience in Articulate Storyline, Camtasia, and Adobe designing tools

  • High level expertise in Microsoft Office products (Specially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)

  • Basic video editing skills, including the ability to create short system “how to” videos. Has experience acting as a SharePoint administrator, with the ability to manage learning team materials

  • Excellent English language skills—both written and spoken; as the role requires interaction with various business groups

  • Highly innovative—must be able to come up with many ways of making content interactive.

  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills

  • Cross cultural competence

 
Preferred Qualifications

  • A degree/certification in Instructional Designing from a reputed Institute would be preferred

  • Experience in designing and developing learning solutions for Banking/Financial Institutions

  • Basic graphic designing skills, including editing and photography touch-up
